my life is HECTIC, but awesome

So, I am currently:

• taking 19 units (three 5-unit classes that are all SO much work, plus my honors thesis)
• babysitting twice a week
• working in the PPRG 15 hours a week
• I got a sweet internship for 43KIX! which is a part of Allied-THA, where I potentially want to work after I graduate.. but I have been so overwhelmed, I haven't done much yet. I really need to get on that.
• and, my lovely roommate got me a part time marketing gig for Vibe, which is this sweet app I'm really liking.

I'm going to combine work with pleasure for a moment, and explain Vibe and why you should download and then have fun semi-anonymous conversations with Jocelyn and I:)
-It's super easy to use
-It's very functional. For instance, I'm going to make all of my friends download it when we go to Stagecoach later this year so I can find everyone amidst the chaos.  It's a great app for schools or large events.
Basically, Vibe lets you set the distance and amount of time you want a post to last for (for instance, 200 feet and 24 hours), and then after that amount of time, your post will disappear.  It's great for sharing tips (AKA "THERE'S A COP ticketing on the corner of Campus and Mayfield), announcing times/dates for sports teams or groups (this Friday I'll definitely send a shout out for the Synchronized Swimming meet and the baseball game.. I'm wearing one of my roommate's old synchro suits, so get excited), or just general information you would want to share with people in a specific amount of space (dorms: BEER PONG IN 20 MINUTES, I need a partner!, does anyone have a pink tiara??!, etc.)

So, I've been having a lot of fun posting, and thought I would share the knowledge:)

2012, and so it begins.

two things I saw today, both amazing:

life is great. school is overwhelming, but amazing.  my boyfriend is great (how weird, to say "boyfriend").  I opened my iPad yesterday, and I LOVE it so far. who knew.

You will have to sleep wedged between someone’s limbs. It wont be better and it wont be worse; it will be different, and you’ll have to learn to love it too.
